Training and Assessment
This course is delivered to the MLT (UK) specification. The Mountain Leader Award is designed to provide group leaders with the skills necessary to operate in British mountainous terrain in summer conditions.

Prerequisites
You must be at least 18 years old. Have a genuine interest in leading groups, and have the required amount of hillwalking experience.

The course is run in conjunction with Pete Goldsmith Mountaineering who is the MLTE course provider and course director, Number: 546. All candidates should be registering with MLTE prior to attending:

General Information
We deliver the ML training course in a modular format over three weekends in three different locations, the Mendips, Brecon Mountains, with the final weekend in Snowdonia. This has proved very popular. Full kit list requirements will be sent on booking and full terms and conditions of booking available upon request.
