If you are looking to gain your SIA licence and be trained by experienced trainers who are licenced and active in the security industry, we have the course for you.
The Door Supervisor course allows you to apply for your SIA licence which enables you to work in three sectors of the industry, maximising your job opportunities. The holder can undertake work in a range of activities in the security industry, from working in pubs and clubs, events, retail security and much more.
General Information
The course is delivered over 38 guided learning hours, 30 hours of which are contact hours over four days.
You will need to provide suitable identification and pass a criminality check. The Door Supervisor Course has significant overlaps with Security Guarding Course so you will be well prepared should you choose to work in that sector.
The course is delivered via a range of techniques including, trainer led presentation, group practice, group discussion, PowerPoint, video presentation.
Course Assessment
To obtain the SIA Door Supervisor licence you will need to pass a licence-linked qualification called the Level 2 Award in Door Supervision. It is assessed by three straightforward multiple choice exams.
