Peadiatric Emergency Responder

The aims & objectives of this Child and Baby Emergency Responder course are to equip the delegates with the essential skills required to manage an emergency and save life until the emergency services arrive and will also be able to identify and treat a number of common childhood illnesses and will gain an understanding how and when to activate the emergency services.

Course Duration
One Day

This course is delivered using a range of techniques including, instructor led presentation, group practice, group discussion, PowerPoint, video presentation.
Course Assessment
This course is subject to on-going assessment by the Instructor throughout the course. There is no final assessment. The Instructor confirms knowledge and understanding through practice sessions as the training progresses to ensure the delegate fully understand the material.

Course Certification
All successful attendees will be awarded a certificate which meets all the requirements laid down by Sure Start for Nannies registering on The Childcare Approval Scheme; this certificate is valid for three years.

Should you wish to host this course on your own site you will need a room that will comfortably seat your amount of delegates, and also allow for floor practice during the course.
